Quilter has appointed David Tiller (pictured) as commercial and propositions director, as it continues the development and growth of its adviser platform.
Tiller will report to Steven Levin, CEO of Quilter’s platform and Quilter Investors, and will oversee Quilter’s portfolio management technology, client-driven investment solutions, adviser tooling and platform.
The move follows the completion of Quilter’s re-platforming earlier this year, with the new technology placed at the core of the wider Quilter business for its future growth.

In the first half of 2021, the Quilter platform recorded net inflows of £1.8bn, up 80% on the same period last year, with more than 2,700 advice firms having conducted more business on the platform.
Tiller most recently held the role of global head of client technology solutions at Standard Life Aberdeen, where he was responsible for the Standard Life Wrap and Elevate platforms.
He is also a non-executive director at Origo Services.
Levin said: “We are delighted to bring in someone of David’s calibre to the leadership team here at Quilter.
“He has a distinguished track record of driving growth and has well-established connections within the UK advisory, investment and platform markets.
“David brings a huge amount of experience in bringing together capabilities of multiple functions, while ensuring that clients are at the front and centre of our business.
“We also want to showcase to advisers the increased functionality and assistance we can bring to their businesses.
“With David on board, I believe we are in a great position to do just that and help propel our propositions forward over the long-term.”
Tiller added: “I am excited to have the opportunity to help accelerate the next phase of growth for Quilter.
“Success means helping our adviser partners prevail in an increasingly digital world through enhancing the overall client experience and outcomes driven through our propositions.
“Although there has been a huge amount of change in the past year, Advisers using Quilter know their clients’ assets are already on a modern agile platform that is well placed to advance and evolve.
“With Quilter’s capabilities today looking like other platforms’ aspirational roadmaps, I am really excited about what we will achieve with our next phase of digital innovation and how much we can help clients and advisers.”
