Ipswich Building Society has added Paul Johnson as finance director, Sian Hill as non-executive director and Lee Gladwell as chief commercial operator.
Prior to his new appointment, Johnson held the role of head of UK and divisional finance at Vanquis. He has also spent time as chief financial officer for Citi.
Hill’s appointment follows the retirement of Peter Elcock. Hill has largely worked as a tax partner at KPMG and is now a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

She also holds a non-exec role at Yealand Administration Limited and is a trustee and chair of the Finance & Audit and Remuneration Committees of Place2Be.
Meanwhile, Gladwell has cooperated with the building society before, providing consultancy services to the firm’s mortgage sales function.
