“We’re extremely proud to partner with the Public Education Foundation to support this scholarship,” said Nichole Banks (pictured above right), Teachers Mutual Bank’s chief marketing officer.

“We have a long tradition of providing meaningful professional development opportunities for the education sector. The Teachers Mutual Bank Principals Scholarship creates a positive impact, not only on the recipients and their schools, but also on their broader communities.”

Rattigan stood out from a highly competitive field of principal applicants for his exceptional leadership qualities and dedication to improving education outcomes for all students who study by distance education.

The principal of Finigan School of Distance Education has also demonstrated a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing remote and distance education and has implemented innovative strategies to support his students and staff.

“I’m very humbled at being the 10th scholarship recipient that Teachers Mutual Bank has sponsored over the last ten years,” Rattigan said. “It’s such an exciting opportunity to make a difference at a higher level.”
