The Right Mortgage and Protection Network recently held a virtual national training event which saw 545 attendees.
The event, which normally hosts its members in person at the National Conference Centre but was a virtual event this year, meant advisers could tune in from wherever they were based in the UK.
This year’s online event, which was titled ‘Broker Vision: Navigating Business Through Changing Times’, saw Jez Rose as the guest speaker who talked about the effects of change.

In addition, there were panel discussions across multiple product lines, including the ability for members to submit their questions.
The event also included a virtual exhibition hall featuring videos, guides and an awards ceremony celebrating their member’s achievements.
Martin Wilson, chief executive at The Right Mortgage, said: “We’re so pleased at the turnout to our first virtual national training event, and the ability of our team to put together an event of such a large scale online.
“The success of this year’s event reflects the hard work of so many people, including our headline sponsors, our in-house teams, and, of course, would have been nothing without the attendance of our members who we continue to work with through the ups and downs of 2020.
“We’re grateful for the sheer amount of fantastic feedback we have received from members and our lender partners, and are excited to see how the information provided throughout this year’s event will further strengthen the businesses of our members and adviser firms.
“I’d also like to say a huge well done to all our winners and runners up at our awards ceremony, who have continued to grow even with the challenges of 2020.
“I know I speak on behalf of myself and the team when I say that we look forward to bringing the same energy to our end of year events, as well as into 2021.”
